Quinkalos

Known to native peoples as the "Night Runner", Quinkalos is a fast running, predatory Elder Dragon. Unlike some of its other kin, Quinkalos lacks wings or any ability to fly whatsoever. Its long limbs however, allow it to pursue prey at high speeds over long distance, allowing it to keep up with monsters as fast as Kirin. Solitary and aggressive, Quinkalos have ten vents located on either side of its torso, which expel a pink gas that confuses and disorients hunters and prey alike. They can also fire this pink gas as a concentrated blast from the mouth. Using this disorienting gas; called Dream Vapor, it finishes targets off with their powerful jaws, hook-like claws and spiked tail.
